February 15th-20th - stock up deals (like 14oz boxes of cereal for $0.19 each)

There are some really great deals going on this week, a few of them you can get without couponing at all, and some of them you NEED to use both coupons and rebates in order to cash in on them.

Firstly, Ridley's has boneless skinless chicken on sale this week for $1.37/lb. For the record, this is the cheapest I have seen chicken get since I started frugal shopping almost a year ago. You can normally buy chicken for $1.99/lb at Walmart, or $1.97/lb at Winco. But we eat a lot of chicken in our house, and that $0.60/lb difference adds up really quickly. I will DEFINITELY be stocking my freezer this week!

Ridley's also has russet potatoes on sale for $0.07/lb. This is also the cheapest I've seen potatoes since I started frugal shopping. Albertson's has the same potatoes on sale this week for $0.69/lb. Do yourself a favor and DON'T get them at Albertson's. While they don't keep on the shelf very well, you can still stock up on potatoes if you shred them, blanch them, and freeze them for hash-browns (which we also eat a lot of in our house).

They also have full size Nestle candy bars (like Butterfinger and 100 Grand bars) on sale for 3/$1.00. I'm not a huge candy person, but if you're interested, that's less than half what you'll pay at the Walmart checkout (and Easter is coming up).

Other great deals this week: Post Honey Bunches of Oats cereal for $0.19 a box. This one you'll need to combine the sale with coupons and rebate apps, AND price match it at Walmart in order to get them that cheap. Here's how it works:
- Fred Meyer's has Post Cereal (up to the 18oz box) on sale for $1.69/each.

- There is an online coupon (available here) for $0.75 off one box of Post Honey Bunches of Oats Crunch cereal. Just combining those two alone would make it $0.94/box.

- Ibotta has a rebate right now (it expires tomorrow, so hurry!) for $0.75 off any Post Cereal in a 9.8 oz box or larger. The catch is, this rebate is ONLY available at Walmart.
Lucky for us, Walmart price matches.
So I will take my Fred Meyer's ad to Walmart, and use both the price match policy and the coupon at the check out. My total will be $0.94/box. Then when I get home I'll upload my receipt to Ibotta and get a $0.75 rebate, and my final price will be $0.19 a box!

If you're new to Ibotta, please read this post found here in order to understand how it works, because you can only redeem one like rebate at a time (also, use my referral code when you sign up, because you'll get an extra $10.00 in your account: ubhwyss). Because this rebate ends tomorrow, I'll only be buying 2 boxes of cereal (one for my Ibotta app, and one for my husband's Ibotta app). If the rebate were still good for another week or so, I would buy 4 or possibly even 6 at that price.

Other decent deals this week: Starting tomorrow Albertson's has Lucerne Cheese on sale for $2.50/lb. Not the greatest price, but better than paying $4.00/lb at Walmart.
As part of Albertson's "Quarters" sale, Pillsbury cake mixes and brownie mixes are on sale for $0.75 a box. If you price match that at Walmart and buy 3 boxes, you can redeem a $0.75 rebate from Ibotta, which would make these $0.50 a box (definitely a stock up price).

On Friday only, Ridley's has a couple of good deals for their 1 day "$5 Friday" sale. Western Family sour cream is $0.83/lb. While the sale says "6 for $5.00", you don't have to buy all 5 to get them at that price.
They also have Old El Paso enchilada sauce on sale for $1.00 a can. You can combine that with a printable coupon found here and get them for $0.50 a can instead. There is a one time use rebate on SavingStar for $0.50 off one can of Old El Paso enchilada sauce, so if you were only to buy one can and use both the rebate and the coupon, you would get it for free! Well, you would still pay the tax on it, so you would get it for $0.06, but that's better than paying full price! Also, please be aware that SavingStar doesn't honor purchases made at Ridley's, so you would need to price match the ad at Walmart in order to cash in on both deals.

And finally, there is a "Freebie" deal on the SavingStar rebate app for a 26oz canister of Morton Table Salt. This means that if you buy it from one of their partnered retailers (like Walmart) and upload your receipt, they will pay you 100% of the cost of the salt. It's only about $0.50, but hey, if you're already at the store, why not? This freebie offer expires tomorrow (2/17/2016).

Happy shopping! I hope this saves you money!!!
